All Fiberglass Builds Underway
So the fiberglass rod builds are under way. All of these rods are fiberglass and built on well respected blanks. The last two in the list are premium rods that would go for 600 easy with other rod makers. You're basically being charged for the components being put on the rods. Pictures will be posted as the rods are finished. Call Matt at (716) 531-8329 to reserve one before they are gone. The available rods are as follows...
The first rod is a 6' 6" 3WT 2PC with a gorgeous honey finish and red wraps. This is going to be a sharp rod perfect for tight quarters fishing or smaller fish like panfish and brookies. This rod will be complimented with a premium uplocking black finish reel seat with a box elder burl wood insert. The guides are black snakes guides with matching stripping guide and tip tops as expected. Comes in a rod bag but tubes are also available. Priced at $300.00
The second rod is being put together on a beautiful Swift Epic 476 natural blank. Its a 7'6" 4WT 3PC with an awesome translucent white finish complimented with brown wraps and a premium spalted maple burl real seat with nickel silver hardware throughout. Also has a matching Swift rod bag and rod tube. This is a sweet rod. Priced at $550.00
The last rod is the grandaddy. This is a 7'9" 4WT 3PC rod, an awesome taper that transitions well between tight quarter and open water fishing. Its built on a yellow James Green blank. A highly regarded fiberglass builder, James rods are well respected and coveted throughout the glass community. This rod will be finished with a cap and ring seat and a formed 6 inch FLOR grade grip both added to balance the rod as its meant to be. I will most likely wrap the guides white silk for transparency possibly with red tipping. The real seat wood will be maple burl. Ill have a definitive price once the build starts but this should go for $550.00
