Fishing Beer Review: Flying Dog "Old Scratch" Amber Lager
Notes From Website
Ideal for the Lager drinker who prefers amber beers, the “Scratch” is a smooth, malt-accentuated lager. Brewed in the “Steam-Style” tradition, scratch is a so-called hybrid beer that is fermented at medium temperatures to develop some ale and lager characteristics.

MY TAKE
I found this beer a little boring. Its a fairly plain lager thats not too bitter and not very hoppy as one might expect. However, if you're looking for a good everyday beer that doesn't taste like coors light than this might be it. It just seems to me like it would be a good summer beer that fits in with the old picture of riding around on a lawnmower drinking a cold ass beer in the sweltering heat.
