Prayers go out to Boston
I feel such a deep sympathy for the families and friends of those involved in the Boston tragedy. I hope we all take the time to reflect on whats happened. I try not to delve into topics not related to fly fishing here but this is an obvious exception. For those of you who do not know two explosions shattered the peaceful and happy day during the Boston Marathon killing several people and wounding many more. Local authorities urge people not to rush out and give blood but have called for people to open their homes to runners who are not able to travel.
As for the cowards involved, I hope you know that you do not know what you've done, we ARE going to find you. There is already some asshole in Jordan who is head of an extremist group claiming he is happy about what happened. We responded and brought the war to your doorstep years ago where many of you were too cowardly to fight us, so you come here and take it out on innocent people.
With the rant over now, I know the fly fishing community as well as concerned citizens here in my homestate of New York have your back Boston. I love you all and pray that you will find at least some peace in your own way in the coming weeks, months, and years.
