A nice trout evening

I was finally able to get out for a couple of hours this evening for some trout.  Most of my time lately has been spent scouting out the salt searching and waiting for the inshore bait and action to pick up. I have filmed the intro segment for my Live the Wild Life TV salt fishing trip, and Im praying that the weather holds up for this weekend cinder worm hatch for the rest of it!

I wanted to get into the sulphurs, they came off, but no risers!  The rain, bump in water, and dropping water kept them down on the East Branch of the Croton.  This river clears so fast, the visibility was very good considering all the rain we got. I did manage a bunch and some fatties too in the fast water on caddis larve and ju ju zebra midge.

Last day of teaching classes tomorrow, from here on out its give and proctor exams, and some die hard salt surf fishing, I can catch up on my sleep in July!
