Check out a great blog
I just wanted to give a shout out and share to one of my favorite fishing/literature blogs out there. The View from Fish in a Barrel Pond : Dispatches from the Slopes of Nonesuch Mountain, Somewhere in Vermont. I love the blog and can't get enough of the well written stories. They may be the only site who can keep me enamored with a short story about dirty floors, cleaning up crap, and bad fishing. One of my favorites quotes of the year comes from the last story I read.
"Barely a dozen mayflies came off, with just a few half-hearted responses from the trout, but I cast anyway, figuring that sooner or later a trout would swim by. This is called “leading the fish” and I am sometimes able to “lead the fish” by as much as half an hour"
Do yourself a favor and check out the site, I think you'll love it.
