Fishing Beer Review : Goose Island Beer Co - 312 Urban Wheat Ale

Notes From Website
Inspired by the city of Chicago and densely populated with flavor, 312’s spicy aroma of Cascade hops is followed by a crisp, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body that's immensely refreshing.

MY THOUGHTS
This is an unfiltered beer and an ale on top of that. I didn't realize this when I bought it or else I wouldn't have but I'm going to try not to bash it right off the bat. This is a lightly cloudy golden beer with a weak head but pretty good lacing. For me the lacing is all visual, I have never found a correlation between lacing and flavor but that's just me. Its either a little hoppy or high on the carbonation, I just can't tell and the flavor was a little plain. I didn't get a strong citrus or even malt flavor from it. Overall I just kind of thought it was a little plain. A good chore beer around the yard in the summer.
